Down to earth mom of two in the world of Medical Aesthetics. Hello all, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Angela Testa RN and Nurse injector. I have been an RN for 27 years and spent most of my nursing career in home care, palliative care and long term care. I was also a PSW instructor in career college for a short period of time. I am venturing into the dental surgery field where I will be a member of the conscious sedation team for oral procedures where PRP is sometimes used to improve the adaptation of dental implants. I am 49 and aging with the rest of the population and have a young daughter and young nieces who are growing up in this world of self care, self love, and doing it with some medical aesthetics. I was never a woman to spend a lot of time performing self care and wearing make-up, worrying about my outer appearance etc. However over these past 5 years I have learned many things about myself and health in general and one thing is I have unmistakably discovered how mental health is affected by physical health and about accepting and loving the way you look in the mirror. Having self confidence and feeling comfortable in your skin directly affects your mood, your behaviour and your motivation. I figured why not embrace this new age and teach my daughter and nieces that you can just enhance what you already have and embrace your natural beauty with just a touch of youth. Let’s not make anyone stiff, fake or unnatural looking and instead accentuate one’s natural beauty. As a woman in the real world aging and growing with you, lets work together to achieve your aesthetic goals by giving you a TOUCH OF YOUTH.
